Specialty iron on can only be the top layer you shouldn t put more vinyl on top of glitter iron on for instance. There are some heat transfer vinyl s that work great for layering and some that don t.

But if you run out of a certain color in your standard film and happened to have it in the nylon version you can grab a roll of easyweed extra and finish that shirt. Try to place the vinyl with the hottest temperature setting at the bottom of your project if possible. While it will work the design is not likely to last.
