Can you cut cultured marble with a wet saw.

You can use an ordinary circular saw equipped with a diamond blade to wet cut your marble. This is in new construction so the home wasn t cleaned yet. As you near the end of the cut move more slowly to avoid ragged edges and to make a clean cut. Cut along the pencil lines using a rotary saw with a sharp masonry blade.

For example if you are installing a kitchen countertop use a circular saw for the lengthy section and use a jigsaw to cut the sink hole out. Meanwhile a router can be used on the edges if you cut a little too wide while using the circular saw. Guide the saw instead of pushing it to avoid splintering or chipping the marble. The circular saw can make the lengthy cutting finish perfectly.

In cutting with your rotary saw be sure the blade you use is a sharp masonry blade.
